This book is a classic story. No matter how old I become, it still has the same beauty to it. A great read for anyone interested in history, forbidden love, or what happens after death.

The characters are story both lacked depth. The narrative and dialog didn't vary with the times, and the characters weren't very unique or engaging. There was little tension or suspense and none of it was romantic.

This is an interesting look at different historical settings as we follow two lovers who reincarnate and keep meeting each other.

This is a cute book. It's predictable but sweet. The characters aren't too well-developed; still, they are interesting and pretty believable.

This book was amazing!!!! Everyone should read this book. You go back in time, following a love story, that has lasted generations. I could read this book over and over. It's so good, I finished it in a day. It's really sad though when they get seperated. Just plain AMAZING!!!!!!!! LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!

This book was addicting to read. I kept screaming no whenever they would get separated. I thought that she could have worked on the ending a bit more though.

It's a pretty good book but it's really confusing.
It all starts in prehistoric times when a young man and a young woman fight over a precious jewel. From then on, they share a special connection that is linked with green stones. Each time they are reincarnated as different beings, they are both undeniably attracted to each other when their paths cross, no matter the obstacles; but each time, their love never has a happy ending.
At first I was so confused because almost every few paragraphs the point of view would switch from one person to the next.
Also I didn't get what it meant by Then. After every story, either the man or the woman would die. The Then chapter is the dead persons spirit watching over his or her body.
Another confusing part was after the Then chapter, when they are reincarnated. Sometimes it was hard to tell who was the woman and who was the man she fell in love with, because there are alot of characters.
The good thing was that they had similar traites. The woman, for instince, loves singing, cats, has a bad ankle, hates fire, likes pottery and books.
The man is awsome at archery, usually a slave, writes songs, and has alot of headaches.
I know this might not make much since right now, but as I said before this is a confusing book. If your up to the challange I hope this helps.

The back:
It starts in prehistory. A young man and a young woman fight over a precious jewel. Their time together is short, but the reverberations are lasting. The attraction they feel transcends their deaths. The affinity they feel is eternal.
Years pass. But fate keeps drawing them together. Whenever their paths cross, there is that strange attraction. That unexplainable affinity. That feeling that they've been together before, even if they can't remember when and they don't understand how.
Theirs is a love haunted by history. From Egyptian slavery to Greek society. From Massachusetts witch trails to Civil War battlefields. From Paris in the 1930s to present day. Circumstance will fight them... but a greater force will reunite them. Because some people are meant for each other--no matter how long it takes.
