The Stranger House

DAISY - 2007
Rate this:
Two strangers arrive in Illthwaite with the intention of digging up bits of the past that the locals would rather keep buried. Sam Flood is a young Australian whose grandmother was dispatched from Illthwaite as a child, while Miguel Madero, a drop-out from a Spanish seminary, has come to the Stranger House in pursuit of an ancestor. The antipathy between them is instant, but their paths become increasingly entangled as the tension mounts to an explosive climax. 2005.
