I believe the eternal ramp theory is correct, and wouldn't they have used elephants or giraffes to pull them?

Interesting documentary. I've heard about ramps, but in this way before. I think the French Architect made some good points.

This movie should have been 15 minutes long, but National Geographic managed to find possibly the most pretentious and annoying host to drag it out to a solid 45 minutes +, at which the viewer feels very very sorry for the poor French Architect who got conned into spending a week in Egypt with Bob.

If you have a short attention span, and want to text during the entire duration of the film, but still get the jist, this is the movie for you. If you're just watching the film, and don't have any attention problems, you will find this film EXTREMELY repetitive.

Beautifully photographed with good graphics. Interesting theories. The host of the programme, Bob Briers, is unfortunately quite irritating: his voice is not sufficiently modulated to be a good narrator and he is at the centre of too much of the film. Overall, it has the unpleasant flavour of a vanity production which reduces its appeal. That said, this will certainly be of interest for Ancient-Egypt buffs.
