This movie was more of a slide show, since very little footage survived for the filmmakers to use. This greatly diminishes the value of the film as entertainment, but I do think they did as good as they could. It tell the story of a small minded woman (former beauty star) who tried to get her boy friend back from the current Mormons, who are best know for the killing of roughly 120 emigrants who were passing through Southern Utah in September 11, 1857. The emigrants-men, women, and children–were traveling from Arkansas to California, part of the Baker-Fancher wagon train. They were killed by a group of Mormons with the help of local Paiute Indians. The current Mormons sent her husband on the mandatory mission all young men must do. A former pilot that was involved in the affair tells most of the story. All in all, not very interesting.
