The evolve album has two of the songs I enjoy. The songs that I really like from Evolve are believer, and thunder. Both of these songs are ones you could listen to whether your studying, playing video games, or hiking. They both sound really good and both have different good meanings that for sure gives them a lot of positive points. Believer talks about how pain is necessary to grow and to achieve what you wish. This is shown both vocally and visually if you watched the official video. While thunder talks about how others can laugh about your dreams, but you just need to keep going and you can possibly show them you were right. Thunder kind of feels like it applies to me as well, I wish to get high marks and get into a really good university and degree but sometimes people like to use my previous years as a basis and say that I wont make it. So what I say to myself is I will prove them wrong and I will do what I wish, and so far I've been getting nothing short of good marks. Anyhow, What I like to do is simply listen to both songs whenever I am feeling bored or wish to listen to something to study in order to both ignore distractions and stay motivated. Thus, I recommend this to anyone who wants to listen to good sounding motivational songs. @BookYourBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Evolve (stylized as ƎVOLVE) is the third studio album by American rock band Imagine Dragons. This album includes 11 songs and 3 singles. The singles are titled as “Believer" and “Thunder”. The album's sound has been described as pop rock while containing elements of R&B, hip hop and EDM. The album’s title “Evolve” represents the evolution of Imagine Dragons in terms of sound (music). The songs in this album sound generally strong and at times, dark. The songs have a mix of up-tempo and downtempo music., For example, “I Don’t Know Why”, “Walking The Wire”, “I’ll Make It Up To You”, “Thunder”, and “dancing In The Dark” are all downtempo music. I enjoy the songs in this album because of the beats and the similarities to electro music. My personal favourites are “Believer”, and “I’ll Make It Up To You”. Overall, the second studio album by Imagine Dragons was much better than this one because this album felt as if this was an experimentation gone wrong. They experimented by including multiple genres in each song such as electronics, pop, rock and mixed it together, with a failed result. - @newtricksterx of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
