Louis’ parents have recently divorced, so he and his brother are shuttled between his mother’s new apartment in the city and his father’s house in the country. While Louis does his best to shield his brother from the emotional realities inherent in the dissolution of a marriage, he can’t ignore his father’s melancholy and alcoholism. Having witnessed the breakdown of love, Louis is reluctant to approach Billie, an outspoken classmate who seems to fear nothing, whom he adores. This is a tale of family, growing up, and bravery.
